Kidney Society Auckland

Kidney Society Auckland

The Kidney Society offers information and advice about kidney failure, dialysis and kidney transplants as well as emotional and practical support for people with kidney failure and their families in Auckland, Northland, the Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Gisborne areas. Most of our services are FREE, and you can self refer by phone, by mail, by email or via our website.

Contact us for anything related to kidney failure and we will either help you, or refer you to someone who can. If you want to talk to someone who has kidney failure, for instance about treatment options, we can arrange that too. The service operates out of premises based in Papatoetoe, South Auckland and staff are available by phone, email, and in person weekdays 9-5. Home visits are available in the Auckland region, and at intervals, when staff visit there, in Northland. Other services include an annual dialysis camp, a community dialysis house and a range of health education events.
