Te Hauora O Te Hiku O Te Ika Home Based Support Services are delivered by approximately 90 part-time workers. The service can assist you to arrange a needs assessment to determine what support is required. You then have a choice of which home support service provider you wish to use.
Te Hauora O Te Hiku O Te Ika is one of three providers in Te Hiku O Te Ika (the Far North area).
A Home Support Coordinator, together with the allocated support worker visits the client in their home, for initial introductions. At this same meeting a client care plan is discussed and finalised between the co-ordinator, client and support worker.
