NorthAble - Kaikohe
Our aim is to link you, the enquirer to needed information and services, and ultimately be your 'First Stop for Disability Information and Service'. NorthAble can provide disability related information or point you in the right direction in regards to disabilities, advocacy, recreation, education, training, funding, equipment, access to services, disability organisations, support groups, and relevant government agencies. We are 'mobile' and will travel throughout Northland if your organisation or community would like a disability information presentation or an equipment display.
At NorthAble – Whangarei office and our recently established office in Kaikohe we have public access computers available where people can access the Weka (What Everybody Keeps Asking - about disability information) website. We also have free access to the 'Fundview' database so that we can assist you to source funding options.
