Conductive Education in New Zealand is supported by a national body, The New Zealand Foundation for Conductive Education, which was formed in September 1993 by the groups providing Conductive Education around the country. It is not intended as the only source of information on Conductive Education, rather it tries to answer some common questions in simple terms. Each centre is entitled to be a member of the Foundation. At each annual meeting six trustees are elected to form the Board for the ensuring twelve months. The Board has a governance role and meets on four or five occasions each year. The Board employs a National Co-ordinator on a part time basis to carry out the day-to-day administrative tasks of the Foundation and to promote Conductive Education nationally.

This is a free information and advisory service available to everyone; people with a disability, family and whanau, support workers and support organisations. We have equipment available for purchase and hire. Secondhand equipment can also be sold through us. If there is something that you need but we don't stock it we will try to source it. Barrier Free assessment service is available, information on accessible homes. We have information on accessible motels, hotels and activities. We can put you in contact with over 50 support groups and link you to their support network. We have an accessible meeting room and kitchen for hire. This is set up with digital projector and a Front Row 2 Go system hearing system. The Centre is open 9-5 Monday to Friday.
