Elder Family Matters has assisted older people in the wider Wellington region (including Hutt Valley, Porirua Basin, Kapiti Coast, and Wairarapa) for 10 years so they can choose to continue living in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. Step Ahead - Christchurch

Hours: 9.00am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday, plus some weekend and evening activities. Step Ahead is an independent community based rehabilitation programme primarily for people who experience schizophrenia or affective disorders. Wide range of activities provided, determined by desires of members. Members need to be relatively independent and motivated, and maybe involved in the running of the programme, on its Trust Board or as Activity Coordinators. Step Ahead currently provides activity based services in Richmond, Riccarton, Kaipoi, Amberley, Oxford and Ashburton.
