Support Works - Needs Assessment Service Coordination (NASC) Agency
Support Works is the part of the Nelson Marlborough District Health Board that assesses the needs and coordinates the services for people whose lives are affected by a disability to achieve their goals, retain their independence and self reliance, and to enjoy optimum quality of life wherever they live. If someone needs support because of a disability they can ask Support Works for a free needs' assessment by making a self-referral by phoning, or they can ask their doctor, social worker, family member, friend, or anyone who supports them to contact Support Works on their behalf.
