Ranfurly Care - Epsom
Ranfurly Care Society provides a range of services for people with an intellectual disability. The Activity Centre provides a service Monday to Friday 8.30 to 3.30 daily.
We are a parent-based Society who recognise the diverse level of needs for each individual student by providing a comprehensive range of activities suited to their personal requirements. Each student has a daily programme to develop physical and recreational pursuits, and living skills. Community integration is encouraged with access to a range of contacts and opportunities throughout Auckland. We develop communication skills and confidence through art, drama, communication, music, education, physical activities and access to hi-tech equipment.
The Ranfurly Residential Homes provides 24 hour support for permanent residents with intellectual disabilities over the age of 16 years. Residents are encouraged to be as independent as possible and to participate in normal everyday activities, including community interaction, leisure activities and all enjoy an annual holiday. Life skills training and education is offered.
The Ranfurly Road Home also provides a respite care service.
