Auckland Ostomy Society Inc
The Auckland Ostomy Society covers the area from Pukekohe up to the Harbour Bridge and out to the West Coast Beaches . The North Harbour Ostomy Society operates for those north of the Harbour Bridge . We hold a General Meeting bi monthly on a Saturday morning at The Domain Lodge where we have morning tea , a short business session and then a speaker on a varied range of subjects medical and general . We usually have a representative of one of the Ostomy Supplies manufacturers to show any new products and answer questions . At the meetings there are all types of ostomates male and female who are happy to talk one on one if required about how they deal with all aspects of having a stoma . We also have a monthly informal lunch for those who wish to socialise , a Christmas Party and a annual picnic .
