Nga Kakano Foundation (Te Puke)
‘Hei awhi mo te tangata’ Caring for the people Nga Kakano Foundation was established in 1986 by tangata whenua to provide health and social services to whanau/families living in the Te Puke District. As a tangata whenua based organisation, we currently operate services within the Tauranga, Te Puke and Opotiki and Murupara districts. In 2002 the Nga Kakano Foundation purchased the Waitangi Family Practice to compliment our existing Community health and social services.
