Maori Disabilities & Resource Centre
To deliver holistic care and support services in the areas of health, welfare, education, employment, and justice, housing support and information. Our whaanau are involved in promoting health checks for our men and women of all ages. Maaori Disabilities and Resource Centre are a team of skilled Maaori people committed to delivering a culturally appropriate service. The centre embodies a holistic philosophy and as such our approach to a healthier wellbeing incorporates the four cornerstones of health – whaanau, wairua, hinengaro, tinana. Our services are targeted at Maaori specifically but are available to anyone who deems our services to be appropriate for them. The whaanau staff are highly committed to this kaupapa.
