Autism New Zealand does this by maintaining contact with overseas associations. They will arrange seminars and conferences and provide training courses for parents and professionals. Conductive Education in New Zealand is supported by a national body, The New Zealand Foundation for Conductive Education, which was formed in September 1993 by the groups providing Conductive Education around the country. It is not intended as the only source of information on Conductive Education, rather it tries to answer some common questions in simple terms. Each centre is entitled to be a member of the Foundation. At each annual meeting six trustees are elected to form the Board for the ensuring twelve months. The Board has a governance role and meets on four or five occasions each year.
