Presbyterian Support Northern - Coactive Collaborative Disablity Service
Presbyterian Support Northern's Coactive Collaborative Disability Service offers a new approach to home and community-based support to disabled people under the age of 65.
Available free-of-charge in Central and South Auckland upon referral from Taikura Trust, the Coactive Collaborative Disability Services aims to better support disabled people, providing them with increased choice and control over the support they receive. This includes a partnership approach to developing support plans and, where possible, involving clients in the selection of their Support Assistant(s).
Each client receives individually-tailored, flexible, responsive and quality support. The specific services provided vary, depending on the person's needs and wishes but may include assistance with personal care and household tasks, and support with other activities that clients want to undertake.
