Special Education
A group within the Ministry of Education providing services - directly and indirectly - to children and young people with special education needs. Provides early intervention support for children from birth until settled in school, the SE Maori strategy and information for families, whanau, school and early childhood services. Contact your local Special Education Office to discuss what educational support is available for your child or student.
