Breakthrough NZ Disability News Blog.
An enterprising AUT student has created a new website specifically for people with a disability. Red Nicholson, 21, launched walkingisoverrated.com on the 5th of October, and has already received over 600 hits. The site is the first of its kind, Red says; written by disabled people for disabled people, and featuring a blog on disability news from around New Zealand, as well as reviews on the accessibility of cafes and restaurants around Auckland, and an online forum where members can gather and talk about anything they like - whether its related to disability issues or not.
