How do I search Weka


How to Search on Weka

Typing OR, will find documents that contain either of the words. For example, wheelchair OR scooter, will find documents that contain either the word wheelchair or the word scooter.

Typing AND, will find documents that contain both words. For example, autism AND support, will find documents that have both words.

Typing AND NOT, will find documents that do not contain the second word. For example, autism AND NOT aspergers, will find documents about autism which do not contain the word aspergers.

Placing quotation marks around your search phrase will find documents with the exact phrase entered. For example, "wheelchair back" will find documents that contain the exact phrase, wheelchair back.

Sort Results

Sort results by 'relevance', will return documents according to number of matches per document, with the highest number at the top of the list.

Sort results by 'first modified', will return documents placing those first modified at the top of the list.

Sort results by 'last modified', will return documents placing those last modified at the top of the list.


Use Word Variants

This option finds words with the base word along with certain prefixes and suffixes. For example, searching for "wheelchair" will also find "wheelchairs".


Fuzzy Search

This option finds documents which have matches similar to your search. For example: search for "user requirements" will return documents with the following "user group requirement" and "user has a requirement".
