Interactive Drawing Therapy Training - Unit One: Basic Method and Principles
Interactive Drawing Therapy works with almost every presenting problem and client group you're likely to see. It's a highly practical therapy (developed by a psychotherapist from his own practice and observation) in which clients express their thoughts and feelings by writing and diagramming on pages of A3 paper using chunky coloured crayons, and in the process access great insight and inherent resourcefulness. IDT offers you the versatility to with work the client at whatever level they present and maximises the efficient and effective use of limited session time - it helps you know what to do and when to do it!

Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) National Workshop Series (127KB PDF)
Strategies for supporting People with Autism (ASD) and their Communication partners. A Ministry of Health and ATANZ (Assistive Technology Allience New Zealand) initiative.
The aims of the workshop include helping participants develop an understanding of:
  • AAC tools snd strategies ('lite' and high tech) designed for people with ASD.
  • Creating supportive communition environments.
  • The frameworks associated with assessment and implementation of AAC.
  • Specialist services that support the assessment process.
