Online Assistance

Welcome to online assistance, where disability information consultants can assist you immediately. This feature is powered by javascript and therefore may not operate correctly on your browser. As an alternative you are invited to phone or email us.

We are available Monday to Friday from 9 00am to 4 30pm. Please feel free to email us outside of these hours, or phone our information line on 0800 17 1981 and leave a voice message.

All emails and messages are cleared and answered on a daily basis. Emails and messages submitted over the weekend will be cleared on Monday morning.

Online assistance provides you with up-to-date, accurate information about disability-related matters. We look forward to your enquiries.

How to Chat
When you click on the "chat" button a small window will appear. If there are no operators online you will see:

(All Operators are OFFLINE)

You can choose to close the window or leave a message. If all the operators are busy the following words will appear:

(All Operators are BUSY)

At this point you can choose to wait for an operator to become free or leave a message. If there are operators free to take your call you will see:

(Operators are ONLINE)

Click on the Weka Online Assistant link. Another small Weka window will appear. Type the name you would like us to call you into the name box. You may also type an opening message into the message box if you wish. Click "Logon" and you will be transferred to an assistant who will be pleased to assist you.
